I pass by this building almost every other day – and Air India has held a special place in my heart, for various reasons. But that particular day, I remember reading about how they had not yet turned around the corner from making losses, and at that particular instant, the caption and the photo came together in my head.
You can see a sliver of the roof of the cab adjacent to mine – the passengers in the cab were looking nervously at me while I was taking this photograph. It seems anybody taking photographs of public places in India has bad intentions.

perhaps, they mst be surprised to c a local clicking pics of the AI bldg.To most, in their daily catwalk to earn their bread, butter, sauces and sausages the city’s edwardian/ hertiage buildings no longer captivate their eyes.
Actually – it’s quite dangerous clicking photographs of buildings in Mumbai. People automatically distrust your intentions.
